Zain has launched a new pre-World Cup campaign featuring Iraq national team players Aymen Hussein, Amir Al Ammari, Youssef Amyn and Jalal Hassan, with strategy and talent management delivered by PRO. The campaign uses the players’ presence and credibility to promote Zain’s football-related products, bundles and offers to customers ahead of the tournament.

The work includes TVCs, digital films, social content and stills where each player appears individually to highlight how Zain keeps fans connected to matches, highlights and football content on the go. The messaging focuses on simple, football-first stories that link everyday fan behaviour – watching, following and talking about the team – with Zain’s services and network.

As the agency partner, PRO handled player outreach and contracting, creative development and end-to-end production in coordination with Zain’s marketing and brand teams. The objective was to deliver a clear, accessible campaign that talks directly to Iraqi fans, with national team stars front and center of Zain’s football proposition.

The campaign will run across the World Cup period, with new creatives and tactical offers released in phases on TV, outdoor, retail and Zain’s digital channels.
